Moncharm | Château Pavie 2008
Definetely one of the best Pavies mad under the supervision of the proprietors Gerard Perse an Chantal, Château Pavie 2008 is a brilliant blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (20%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The wine has a stunning opaque purple colour and offers sweet and smoky aromas mixed with notes of black cherries, creme de cassis, toast and crushed chalk. Even at this infantile age, it is remarkably intense, full-bodied and has balanced tannins. The texture is savory and multilayered. The wine will be perfectly approachable in 2 to 5 years and will drink well for over 25 years.
