Moncharm | Moet & Chandon Dom Perignon 2004

Moncharm | Moet & Chandon Dom Perignon 2004

A nose of rich almond and powdered cocoa, a palate of red fruits, white peaches, pears, honey and cream. In Moncharm's opinion if that doesn’t sound delicious, what will? This beautifully rounded and zesty champagne finishes off with a spicy and elegant note, leaving an imprint for quite a long time after it is drunk.
One of the finest and most well-known brands of champagne in the world, Dom Perignon is the flagship champagne of the Moët & Chandon house. Named after a Benedictine monk, who pioneered a few champagne making processes, the brand traces its origins to 1670, when the champagne’s namesake took the initiative to create the finest champagne. The first vintage was sold in 1936, after the naming rights were bought in 1930 by Moët & Chandon.
The Champagne region is best known for its sparkling white wine namesake, a beautifully complex drink with fresh and fruity characteristics. Characterized by chalk subsoil and cool temperatures which give the wine its distinct flavor and acidity, the most grown grapes here include Chardonnay.
