Moncharm | Tignanello 2007
Moncharm highly recommends another masterpiece of the Antinori family, the 2007 Tignanello is an opulent wine which is worth loving. It is a unique communion of Sangiovese (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and the rest Cabernet Franc. The wine offers a delightful bouquet and palate with ripeness of dark cherries, spices, flowers, tobacco, sage, mint, cedar and minerals. This label is one of the best Tignanello so far. The dense and structured palate is followed by an unctuous finish with silky tannins. The wine will be good to have any time between now to 2027.
This winemaking giant has just celebrated its 625th anniversary in 2010. The Antinori family is the oldest and most noted wine producers of Florence. The current proprietor of the estate, Piero Antinor upheld the tradition of creating delightful wines that can enhance the dining experience. The family is driven by their fidelity towards tradition, dedication for producing the best wines and innovative spirit.
Tuscany is the most revered wine regions in Italy. It is home to the following shining stars in the world of vintage, the cities of Florence and Siena, Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino Districts and the great Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Tignanello wineries. Tuscany is also distinct due to the indigenous grape variety Sangiovese, which is very apparent in the vintages of this region.
